Indie Game Developer & 3D Environment Artist

I create stylized worldsA safe place for everyone

I'm an indie developer and 3D environment artist who loves building quiet places - forests, small villages, snowy paths, cozy interiors. Spaces where people can slow down, breathe, and feel something warm.

My work lives somewhere between Unreal Engine, Blender, and Roblox Studio. Whatever the tool, the intention is the same: create simple, atmospheric worlds that feel welcoming and safe.

About

The Story Behind Thaeres Studio

I'm Jerome Genet, a self-taught game developer and 3D artist from Belgium. For more than ten years, I've been learning, experimenting, failing, trying again, and slowly shaping my own way of creating worlds.

I've always been drawn to peaceful environments. Warm light, soft colors, little details that make a place feel alive. Not worlds meant to impress, but worlds meant to make you feel good.

I started with RPG Maker as a kid, then moved to Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, and eventually Roblox Studio. Every project taught me something - not just about tools, but about why I create in the first place.

What I enjoy the most is atmosphere: how a color palette can change the mood, how a small breeze or a few floating particles can make a place feel alive, how light can tell a story without any words.

Over time, "Thaeres Studio" became more than a nickname. It became a way to describe the type of worlds I care about: calm, stylized, kind, and built with intention.

If my environments can make someone smile, relax, or escape for a moment, then I've done what I hoped to do.

Beyond game worlds, I've also been building in a different direction — exploring local AI systems, web applications, and tools that solve real problems. If you're looking for someone who thinks in systems and builds with intention, let's talk.
