Autumn Living Room
My first take on an interior environment, entirely modelled by hand. A time capsule: freezing a peaceful moment of my life, and gathering my whole universe inside it.

The Story
This scene embodies the quietness of a place where I feel good. And it's no accident that it matches my time in Romania: I wanted to freeze in time this moment of my life that mattered so much to me. The desk with the computer even mirrors the layout of my Romanian apartment back then.
It's also a place full of nods. Look closely and you'll find my whole universe gathered in a single room: the hourglass from The Hourglass, the lighthouse from The Lighthouse, the gazebo from Moonbreak Village sitting on the mantelpiece, the sunflower from Flower Forest. And a little mage bird, the very first creature model I designed for a larger, still secret project. That same bird, I later reused in Flower Forest under the name of the Pious, before iterating on it to give birth to other characters. For me, filling this room with these references was a necessity: to give credit to all the projects that carried this one before it.
Under the Hood
I built the scene on Unreal Engine, all in low poly, every element modelled by hand in Blender. It's the fruit of everything I'd learned before, on my individual scenes as much as on my challenges. All that atmosphere-building knowledge concentrated into a single place.

The Wall
The biggest obstacle is the very nature of an interior scene. The models are much smaller, with different proportions to handle, and often more complex than my outdoor props.
And above all, there's this subtle challenge: filling an interior without it looking empty, without cluttering it either. Finding the right balance between furnishing the space and letting it breathe. It's a delicate equilibrium, and it's exactly what makes a room feel lived in rather than staged.
What I'm Proud Of
The final render, without hesitation. It carries exactly the feeling I wanted to convey: warmth, softness, intimacy. With all those nods that add depth.
I sincerely believe it's one of the most beautiful scenes I've made so far. The lighting works, you can feel the care put into every detail. There's something in this room that gives off an emotion that's hard to explain, but very real.
What I Learned
Autumn Living Room proved to me that I'm capable of making interior environments. It's something I'd long avoided, staying in the comfort of outdoor environments, where I'd found my style.
Moving to interiors was a whole different challenge, and rising to it opened up new territory. I learned that my pastel style isn't limited to wide open spaces: it works in intimate ones too.
Today
Like The Plane and The Hourglass, it's a closed project, with no game intention behind it. A scene that exists for its own sake.
But it's perhaps the one that best sums up my approach: all my scenes aim to convey a feeling, an emotion, or to freeze a moment of my life in time. Autumn Living Room does all three at once. It's my little refuge, the one where my whole universe gathers around a fireplace.
